What do army Cavalry Scouts do typically at their duty station and while they are deployed overseas?

I'm enlisted in the army and leave august 10th for Fort Knox Kentucky. I'm training to be a Cav Scout and I'm just wondering what to expect in my training, at my duty station, and when I get deployed? I've read just about everything I can read about Cav Scouts on the internet and I'm not looking for a generic description of a Cav Scout. Instead, I'd rather hear from someone who has experienced what I am about to go through, and can give me some insight on what to expect through their own experiences with it. I'm very excited to be apart of the Cav Scout tradition that I hear so much about, and think that I will be able to excel at whatever is expected of me. If anyone has some real Cav Scout experience, or knows someone who does, I'd appreciate your comments.
