How has the profanity and wholesomeness in movies changed over the generations?

I hate how much movies have changed, but they reflect how the world has changed, so maybe I just hate the world. I think all these overly ual things that people put in movies makes seem cheaper and adds nothing to the movie. Some movies just go way overboard, especially these stupid American Pie movies and all those guy movies that make it "ok" to base the entire movie on and casual cursing. Not to mention it makes all women seem like cheap sluts.
