Have you seen Do The Right Thing made by Spike Lee and with him in it..?

I've seen Do The Right Thing so many times in my life and I believe its GREAT movie but I just never got the ending..Did Mookie do the right thing?? I mean and after it ended it showed quote from MLK and Malcolm X with different point of views of violence.
